179763307_img nursing is more that caring - May. 24, 2006 at 08:40 PM funny thing had happened to me when i was assigned in the pedia ward last may 5 2006. i was endorsed to little miss jenah maglinao with r/o dengue fever. she is just a five year old gal. very cute that in her eyes you cannot resist to say" she will be a beautiful gal some day. i was told to monitor her every hour and report emmediately any observable changes. when i got her temperature, it was 38.3 degree celcius. so i decided to have her TSB. funny thing had happened to me. she punched me at my face! ha..ha..ha.. its okey…. at the first place we are tough to be passive with patience. i dont TSB with sweet all over my body just to handle the patient with care. it was almost 8 pm. i should have her V/S taken for graphing then suddenly the child kiss me when i was taking her b/p…. huh! that really hurts. but what is a filipino nurse is being for if i will lose my temper… i love nursing and nursing is not just a noble profession for me, this is vocation. with TLC, tender, loving care is the sevice of a La Salleian Student nurse

Passion
~ Charlotte Bronte
Red Papaver Orientale (Closeup

Some have won a wild delight,
By daring wilder sorrow;
Could I gain thy love to-night,
I’d hazard death to-morrow.

Could the battle-struggle earn
One kind glance from thine eye,
How this withering heart would burn,
The heady fight to try!

Welcome nights of broken sleep,
And days of carnage cold,
Could I deem that thou wouldst weep
To hear my perils told.

Tell me, if with wandering bands
I roam full far away,
Wilt thou to those distant lands
In spirit ever stray?

Wild, long, a trumpet sounds afar;
Bid me - bid me go
Where Seik and Briton meet in war,
On Indian Sutlej’s flow.

Blood has dyed the Sutlej’s waves
With scarlet stain, I know;
Indus’ borders yawn with graves,
Yet, command me go!

Though rank and high the holocaust
Of nations steams to heaven,
Glad I’d join the death-doomed host,
Were but the mandate given.

Passion’s strength should nerve my arm,
Its ardour stir my life,
Till human force to that dread charm
Should yield and sink in wild alarm,
Like trees to tempest-strife.

If, hot from war, I seek thy love,
Darest thou turn aside?
Darest thou then my fire reprove,
By scorn, and maddening pride?

No - my will shall yet control
Thy will, so high and free,
And love shall tame that haughty soul -
Yes - tenderest love for me.

I’ll read my triumph in thine eyes,
Behold, and prove the change;
Then leave, perchance, my noble prize,
Once more in arms to range.

I’d die when all the foam is up,
The bright wine sparkling high;
Nor wait till in the exhausted cup
Life’s dull dregs only lie.

Then Love thus crowned with sweet reward,
Hope blest with fulness large,
I’d mount the saddle, draw the sword,
And perish in the charge!

ma’am Meg, this is for you

Constant Change

We’re on the road
We move from place to place
And oftentimes when I’m about to call it home
We’d have to move along
Life is a constant change

The friends we know we meet along the way
Too soon the times we share form part of yesterday
‘Cause life’s a constant change
And nothing stays the same, oh no

Clouds that move across the skies
Are changing form before our very eyes

Why couldn’t we keep time from movin’ on?
Hold on to all the years before this moment’s gone?
Why must we live the days at such a frightening pace?

We’re all like clouds that move across the skies
And changing form before our very eyes

Have we outgrown our Peter Pans and wings?
We’ve simply grown too old for tales of knights and kings
‘Cause life’s a constant change
And nothing stays the same, oh no

funny accident

August 31st, 2006 by crusader87

i was in the bus for home when i saw this crippled, armless man stepped on the ride inn for free. he was a bit handsome but he walks in kneel because he had some physical problems. i really felt pity for the guy so i wish to start some conversation with him since there are only few of us in the bus. suddenly the bus breaked surprisingly that the crippled passenger dumped himself under the passenger seats and was almost dribbled like a ball there.

i was shoked and forgot to laugh at the very event of that accident. i hurrily rushed to help the crippled armless person, so as the bus ticket collector does.

he said to the ticket collector" no…no…no.. let the student help me he looks stronger than you" yet i was thinner that the him!

when the driver ask what the commotion is all about, the ticket collector told him the accident.

then the driver said"didnt he hold in the safety grills there?"
i think the driver dont understnad..

see!  hes armless and crippled :C
